Luke Mallett is currently a third year student at Nexus Institute of Creative
Arts, studying Popular Music & Worship.
Luke has always had a passion for music since year 7 when he began to
learn the guitar.
He has spent 3 years in College studying Music Technology. As part of his course
he gained experience in being a studio engineer, live sound engineer, lighting,
video editing, and live performance.
While in college he went to the summer School of Rock put on by Rhondda
Cynon Taf Council. He attended for 3 summers. This was his first experience of
being in a band. He gained valuable experience, learning how to work together
in a band and the elements of putting together and performing a gig.
He also attended the School of Rock held at Cardiff Atrium, gaining experience
in producing original material and photo covers, also during his time there he
recorded 2 songs with his band.
He doesn’t have a favourite type of music; he likes most types of music.
He is dependable, punctual, and loyal; works well with others and has a
passion for music.
